Kristine and Anthony are such a sweet couple who have a fun, spirited attitude that we got to see firsthand in their custom music video during their reception. They were married in late August and their reception was at the beautifully remodeled Tom Ham’s Lighthouse. For those of you who have not ventured out there yet, the waterfront restaurant has had a modern uplift while still keeping with the old-world charm of the original structure.
The couple chose amber uplighting which accented the succulents adorned on the tables as well as the new dark wood features of the venue’s California room.
Medjoy and Neil were married in late August and their reception was at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. The venue, with its rustic charm, felt very warm and cozy. We absolutely loved the wooden beams across the ceiling of the Ballroom as it added so much texture and depth to the room. It all came together so nicely.
We mostly post weddings but we also rock birthday parties too!. Ringing in their 35th birthday, 4 lovely celebrants Hazel, Leilani, Peggy and Sally do it big and in style at their 1920’s themed celebration. Happy birthday ladies!
Monogram lighting with Trixia and Andrew’s design. They used the same design throughout the entire wedding. Their reception was at the US Grant in San Diego in the Presidential Ballroom. It was timeless and beautiful! Congratulations to you both!
Vanessa and Min currently reside outside of San Diego but their wedding was here in SD where most of their family and friends are. I communicated mostly via phone with Vanessa and we connected immediately. It was easy for us to jump right into her ideas and see the full vision she had of their event space. She is just the sweetest person and it has been a pleasure being able to be a part their special day. The reception space was gorgeous and decor was very chic and elegant. Not to mention they also had a donut bar, Yummy!
Congratulations to Anny Champy and Jonny Voyles on their recent wedding! Their reception was held at Admiral Kidd and it was beautiful! Their colors were blush pink with a light amber color. We set up the blush pink uplighting around the perimeter and amber highlighting the couple at their sweethearts table overlooking the beautiful San Diego bay.
Here are a few before and after pictures The team was out before sunset so its still a little bright out.
Karl and I were in the same Kindergarten class over 20 years ago and when I saw his name 3 years ago in a welcoming newsletter at work, I started thinking when the last time it was I actually saw him. Since he left our elementary school, I think it was probably around Kindergarten that I saw him last.
Trisha and Karl are a sweet couple, so when Karl told me he had proposed and inquired with us about lighting, we were elated to help them on their special day.
This is a picture of their Sweethearts lounge. Very cute idea!
Here is a panoramic shot of their entire reception area. Lovely!
